Biofuels Digest Index falls 1.03 percent to 57.93 as BP gains, grains fall

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.03 percent to 57.93 as rising BP fortunes offset grains declines.   For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.73 percent to $25.82, while BP recovered 4.37 percent to close at $28.88.  Among smaller caps, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 39.13 percent to $0.64 as it exited bankruptcy. Overall, declines led advances 8 to 3 for the day.
