Maple Energy closes $12.5 million equity round for Peruvian ethanol plant

In Peru, Maple Energy has closed its final equity-raising round of $12.5 million for its ethanol project there. The private placement has been finalized with local with Fondo de Inversion en Infraestructura, Servicios Publicos Y Recursos Naturales. The company continues to push for beginning ethanol production in 2011.
