Zambia aims for 50 percent of fuel from biodiesel
In Zambia, the government is still hopeful that half of the country’s diesel consumption will be provided by jatropha-based biodiesel once investments are completed and plantations are mature. The country has a biofuel policy in place and has approved fuel standards for both ethanol and biodiesel.
