The 100 Top People in Bioenergy: Voting begins

In Florida, Biofuels Digest announced the opening of balloting for the Top 100 People in Bioenergy, after a week of nominations in which more than 270 company executives, trade association leaders, policymakers and researchers around the world were nominated by Digest readers and the Digest editorial board.

The ballot is open to Digest subscribers and will remain open for voting until 5pm EDT, Friday, October 1.

In all, candidates from more than 20 countries were nominated, including 51 association and trade executives, 145 company executives, 19 government personalities, 30 investors, and 32 researchers were nominated in all.

“We thank the hundreds of Digest subscribers who took the time to nominate people they work with or admire for the Top 100 People Balloting,” said Digest editor Jim Lane, “now let the voting begin!”

Digest readers as well as an editorial panel will be participating in the ballot, and write-ins by readers are encouraged.
