Biofuels Digest Index slips 0.15 percent to 68.63 as large-caps fall back

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, declined 0.15 percent to 68.63  on large cap declines offset by small cap surges.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 2.00 percent to $31.92, while BlueFire Renewables (BFRE.OB) gained 42.86 percent to $0.50 on the third day of a big rally following news of a new feedstock contract. Among other equities, Verenium (VRNM) gained 3.13 percent to $3.29 following release of a new enzyme Overall, advances led declines 5 to 4 for the day.
