Biofuels Digest Index reaches five-month high of 69.20

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, reached a five-month high of 69.20, up 0.83 percent.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) was flat at $31.92, while BlueFire Renewables (BFRE.OB) gained 28.00 percent to $0.64 on the fourth day of a big rally following news of a new feedstock contract. Among other equities, Lignol (LEC.V) gained 10.53 percent to $0.21. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 3 for the day.
