October 5, 2010 |

In Spain, biodiesel producer Aragon will pay Austria’s BDI $6.3 million to install multi-feedstock technology at Aragon’s 100,000 metric ton per year facility in Altorricon to broaden the use of raw materials to used cooking oils and animal fats. The upgrade is intended to lower the plant’s operating costs which currently rely primarily on imported canola and soybean oil. Upgrades should be finished by next September.
