Amyris heads 14 biofuels companies in AlwaysOn Going Green Silicon Valley 100

In California, AlwaysOn announced its GoingGreen Silicon Valley 100 companies list based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media buzz.

Among biofuels companies, Amyris, Chemrec, Cobalt Technologies, CoolPlanetBioFuels, Coskata, EdeniQ, Gevo, LS9, Mendel Biotechnologies, OPX Biotechnologies, Sapphire Energy, Solazyme, Synthetic Genomics, and ZeaChem were named to the top 100, with Amyris named as “category winner”. The companies will be honored at AlwaysOn’s fourth annual GoingGreen Silicon Valley Event on October 12th, 2010, at the Presidio’s Golden Gate Club in San Francisco, CA.
