Biofuels Digest Index jumps 0.60 percent to new 25-month high of 73.52 as ethanol, corn jump

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 0.60 percent to a new 25-month high of 73.52, the highest point since the 2008 financial crisis. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.40 percent to $32.86, while Gushan (GU) advanced 25.64 percent to $0.98.  Among other equities, Monsanto (MON) soared 4.18 percent to $50.87. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
