16 biofuels, biochems companies make Global Cleantech 100 list

In New York, the Global Cleantech 100 was unveiled at the Cleamtech Forum XXVIII in New York City. highlights the most promising private clean technology companies around the world, recognizing companies at the forefront of cleantech innovation.

16 companies making renewable fuels and chemicals were honored, including:

Amyris, Avantium, Chemrec, Coskata, Elevance, Enerkem, Gevo, Green Biologics, Joule Unlimited, LanzaTech, LS9, Sapphire Energy, Solazyme, Synthetic Genomics, Virent Energy Systems, and ZeaChem.

According to the Cleantech Group, “The final list represents the collective opinion of hundreds of leading experts from cleantech innovation and venture capital companies in EMEA, North America, India and China, combined with the specific input of an expert panel.”
