Biofuels Digest Index flat at 26-month high of 74.86

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, remained flat at a 26-month high of 74.86 although most equities declined on Friday. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) Monsanto (MON) leapt 4.92 percent to $56.78, while BlueFire Renewables (BFRE.OB) fell 9.09 percent to $0.50.  Among other equities, Rentech (RTK) was up 12.04 percent to $1.21. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
