Schwarzenegger to open latest renewable fuel station from Propel Fuels

October 29, 2010 |

In California, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will today open the newest renewable fuel station from Propel Fuels, a leading retailer of domestically-produced, low-carbon fuels. The station rollout is part of California’s Low Carbon Infrastructure Investment Initiative, which will create more than 450 jobs across the state, while displacing millions of gallons of petroleum, and providing California’s drivers with better choices at the pump. The fueling infrastructure project is funded in part by a $10.9 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and California Energy Commission (CEC), and is matched by Propel’s $16 million in private investment.
