Kia Soul Flex debuts as 100% ethanol car for Brazilian market

In Brazil, Kia has introduced the Kia Soul Flex, which runs on up to 100 percent ethanol, and will target the car for the Brazilian market. The company said that the Soul Flex would begin shipping to Brazil in November, taking advantage of the 40 percent lower price of ethanol in the Brazilian market that has pushed the fuel to own a majority market share.

Kia said that, among changes from their traditional design includes a reinforced fuel pump, pillar cap and fuel line, and a gasoline tank assist to help with cold start situations.
