Philippines ethanol capacity usage to reach only 33-60 percent in 2011

In the Philippines, government consultations with domestic ethanol producers continue as the Department of Energy works to figure out how much imports will be needed for the country to reach its 2011 blending mandate. Though the local companies have the capacity to produce 318 million liters by 2011, compared with the 400 million liters needed to reach the mandated blend, local production is likely to only reach between 118 million and 200 million liters.
