Brazil halts biodiesel auctions

In Brazil, the national energy agency has halted its quarterly biodiesel auctions until its Congress develops a new policy that will allow the market to dictate prices and trade without interference. Until now, Petrobras had been the sole buyer and marketer of biodiesel under the auction policy.
