ICM to retrofit Hereford ethanol plant

November 16, 2010 |

In Texas, ICM has signed an agreement to retrofit the Hereford Renewable Energy plant in Hereford with work expected to be finished by the end of 2011.

The facility, acquired by the Murphy Oil subsidiary from bankrupted Hereford Energy, will include the addition of new equipment to enable the plant to consistently achieve nameplate capacity. Hereford Renewable Energy’s primary goal in retrofitting the plant prior to start-up is to capitalize on the improved operating efficiencies expected from the incorporation of ICM’s industry-leading process technology.
