Biofuels Digest Index drops to 73.96 as large caps sag

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 0.54 percent to 73.96 as large caps caught the jitters. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) dropped 1.13 percent to $28.88, while Gushan (GU) dropped 6.33 percent to $3.70. Among other equities, Bluefire Renewables (BFRE.OB) jumped 13.64 percent to $0.50. Overall, declines led advances 7 to 4 for the day.
