Biofuels Digest Index soars to 75.63 as advanced biofuels leap

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, soared 2.44 percent to 75.63 on advanced biofuels gains. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) jumped 1.72 percent to $29.49, while Amyris (AMRS) soared 4.86 percent to $21.58, and is now up nearly 25 percent since its IPO.  Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) lifted 4.14 percent to $9.81. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
