Biofuels Digest Index slips to 77.09 on broad renewables decline

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.80 percent to 77.09 as the declines mounted across the renewables sector. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.11 percent to $30.22while Amyris (AMRS) dropped another 3.55 percent to $21.44. Among other equities,  Verenium (VRNM) dropped 3.14 percent to $3.39 a day after issuing 2011 revenue guidance. Overall, declines led advances 6 to 1 for the day.
