Indiana corn ethanol plant is now producing at 60 Mgy after restarting production

In Indiana, the 110 Mgy Aventine Renewable Energy corn ethanol pant at Mount Vernon, which restarted production last month, is now producing at an annualized rate of 60 Mgy and is being gradually ramped up towards full capacity, according to a report in the Courier Press. Aventine has forged ahead on construction of two additional ethanol plants, with a goal of raising production to 460 Mgy across its portfolio, or fifth-highest among all US ethanol producers.
