Cosan to acquire Zanin Acucar e Alcool for $224.7M

In Brazil, Reuters is reporting that Cosan (CZZ.N) will acquire the Zanin Acucar e Alcool sugar and ethanol mill for 378.6 million reais ($224.7 million), including a combination of cash and debt. The acquisition price includes 142 million reais ($84.3M) in cash and the assumption of 236.6 million reais ($160.4M) in debt. The Zanin deal adds 2.6 million tonnes in crushing and processing capacity for Cosan. The deal is expected to close by the end of February.
