Biofuels Digest Index rises for 8th straight day to 87.66, 30-month high

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, advanced for the eighth day in a row and the 19th in the past 21 trading days, closing at 87.66, up 0.49 percent. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.63 percent to $33.72, while Amyris (AMRS) dropped 5.02 percent to $30.49. Among other equities, PetroAlgae (PALG.OB) fell 6.82 percent to close at $10.25. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 5 for the day.
