NZ landfill gas-to-fuel project claims payback in one year for trucks

In New Zealand, the first successful project in the country to convert landfill gas into vehicle fuel unveiled its first truck. Project promoters—who have a vision of 5% of Auckland’s vehicle fleet running on waste—say that waste companies can convert their trucks for $20,000 and earn back the investment in a year.
