Biofuels Digest Index falls 1.33 percent to 86.49, ending eight-day rally

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, reversed 1.33 percent to 86.49, ending an eight-day winning streak. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.62 percent to $33.93, while Bluefire Renewables dropped 13.04 percent to $0.40. Among other equities, Monsanto (MON) fell 4.61 percent to $71.19. Overall, declines led advances 6 to 1 for the day.
