Thai Oil may double ethanol production

In Thailand, Thai Oil is preparing a feasibility study looking at doubling the company’s ethanol production to 400,000 liters per day, a project that could cost $32.8 million. The company is been waiting for demand to reach two million liters per day from the 1.4 million liters now.

The company is also going to spend $300 million to build two co-generation electricity plants.
