MetGen lands cleantech prize in Eurecan European Venture Contest

In Finland, enzyme producer MetGen has been awarded the Cleantech company winner of Eurecan European Venture Contest 2010 out of 987 applications from 24 countries. The company has developed innovative enzymes for use in second generation ethanol production as well as for wastewater treatment and to speed up pulp and paper processing. In the contest, 449 ICT, Cleantech and Healthcare companies were reviewed by over 120 European Experts online and face-to-face at meetings all over Europe.
