Spanish ethanol exports drop, imports soar

In Spain, ethanol imports from France more than doubled between January and October last year to 52.3 million liters from 25.1 million liters the year before. During the same period, Spanish ethanol exports also dropped significantly with only 170.2 million liters exported compared to 221.1 million liters the year before. The main export destination was the Netherlands with 101.7 million liters.
