Biofuels Digest Index dips to 88.17 as ethanol wanes

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dipped 0.05 percent to 88.17 as earnings season dominated pricing. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 1.81 percent to $36.09, while Codexis (CDXS) soared 16.94 percent to $10.70 on strong Q4 earnings. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dropped 3.57 percent to $0.81. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 3 for the day.
