Indian Railways plans $263M investment in four biodiesel plants

In India, Indian Railways is planning to invest $263 million to develop four biodiesel plants at Raipur and Chennai during the next two years for use in locomotive engines. The company, which currently consumes 2 billion liters of diesel per year, also expects to earn carbon credits from the project.
