February 14, 2011 |

In Georgia, Raptor Technology Group confirmed that it will supply the biodiesel manufacturing technology for the 1 million gallon Coastal Biofuel biodiesel project in Savannah.

Raptor expects the facility to begin biodiesel production in mid March. In addition to providing both the manufacturing and technology Raptor also participates in the ongoing revenue stream of the facility, produced from used cooking oils, animal fats and virgin vegetable oils.

The Coastal project, originally announced in 2008, was planned as a 1.5 Mgy facility, expanding ultimately as a 10 million gallon project that would employ as many as 20 people when development was completed.
