Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 31-month high of 89.46

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 0.96 percent to a 31-month high of 89.46 as advanced biofuels soared. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.97 percent to $37.46, while Gevo (GEVO) soared 9.09 percent to $19.81. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) gained 3.12 percent to close at $31.70. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
