Thailand diverts biodiesel oil stocks for cooking oil

In Thailand, the government has decided to use 5,000 metric tons of crude palm oil stocks intended for biofuel production as cooking oil to address the country’s cooking oil shortage.  In addition, the private sector will also be required to transform another 10,000 tons of CPO into cooking oil.
