Natural Chem Holdings plans $22M in old Renova Energy plant in Texas

In Idaho, Houston’s Natural Chem Holdings who purchased the bankrupt Renova Energy ethanol plant in Heyburn for $2.4 million plans to invest $22 million in order to produce biogas, pharmaceutical grade glycerin and blend ethanol and biodiesel.

Investments include $4 million to purify the biogas so it can be sold into the Intermountain Gas Co.’s pipeline in hopes of piping gas to states like California, Oregon and Washington.
