Biofuels Digest Index drops to 88.44 as global equities swoon

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.48 percent to 88.44 on broad declines just a day after the Index reached a 31-month high. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.51 percent to $36.62, while Dupont (DD) dropped 3.01 percent to $53.22. Among other equities, Biox (BX.T) jumped 5.19 percent to $1.42. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
