Biofuels Digest Index drops to 89.67 on oil, ag jitters

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.92 percent to 89.67 as ag and oil stocks fell. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.57 percent to $36.74, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) jumped 5.26 percent to $1.00. Among other equities, Gushan (GU) soared 6.28 percent to $4.91. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
