Green Plains says US ethanol exports rising quickly…to Brazil?

In Nebraska, Green Plains Energy’s CEO says he expects 2011’s ethanol exports to be double of that of 2010’s 400 million gallons, partly due to increased demand from Brazil’s Northeast which is seeing a regional ethanol deficit after a poorer-than-expected sugarcane harvest.
