Biofuels Digest Index drops to 89.07 on a broad biofuels retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 0.76 percent to 89.07 as biofuels retreated across the board. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) shed 1.05 percent to percent to $36.60, while CBiofuel Energy (BIOF) plunged 5.10 percent to $0.93. Among other equities, Monsanto (MON) lost 3.33 percent to $69.40. Overall, declines led advances 9 to 2 for the day.
