Biofuels Digest Index soars to 32-month high of 91.43

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, soared 2.03 percent to a 32-month high of 91.43 as oil and large caps advanced slowly. The BDI has jumped more than 100 percent since its all-time low of 42.84 on 3/3/09. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) climbed 2.63 percent to $35.88, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) gained 6.25 percent to to $0.85. Among other equities, Novozymes (NMZB) leapt 5.13 percent to $148.50. Overall, advances led declines 10 to 3 for the day.
