1,000 workers protest layoffs of workers from UK's Vivergo ethanol project

In the UK, more than 1,000 people have turned out to protest the laying off of 400 Redhall Engineering Solutions employees lost their jobs at Saltend Chemicals site owned by the British Sugar, DuPont and BP joint venture Vivergo when the contract was ended earlier this month.
