Biofuels Digest reaches 94.71 on Amyris upgrade, surge

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, edged up 0.16 percent  to a new 33-month high of 94.71 as Amyris gained on an upgrade.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) was up 0.82 percent to $37.02, while Amyris (AMRS) jumped 3.77 percent to $27.81. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) shed 6.67 percent to $0.56. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
