POET to produce up to 60 million gallons of biodiesel from corn oil

In South Dakota, POET has started selling corn oil from its biorefinery in Hudson for both the biodiesel and feed markets. With corn oil removed from every bushel of corn processed at all of the company’s ethanol facilities, POET would produce more than 500 million pounds per year, which could be made into 60 million gallons of biodiesel.
