Biofuels Digest Index drops to 93.47 as ethanol sags

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.38 percent to 93.47 as ethanol stocks dipped.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) recovered 0.85 percent to $35.57, while Biofuels Energy (BIOF) dropped 5.26 percent to $0.72. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) fell 1.92 percent to $0.51. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
