Ensus shuts down UK ethanol plant to install odor-killing oxidizers

In the UK, Ensus has temporarily closed its ethanol plant in Wilton to install $9.8 million worth of new equipment required by the UK’s Environmental Agency that would tackle the bad odor neighbors have complained of since March 2010. The company has until May 31 to make sure the new oxidizers are working or the agency could take action.
