April 22, 2011 |

In New Jersey, Primus Green Energy is reporting that it has developed a technique to turn agricultural biomass into 93 octane gasoline for both industry and vehicles.  Primus President, Dr. Yom-Tov Samia, states, “Primus GE can produce 2,000 gallons of biofuel at its pilot facility.”  Primus is the U.S. based subsidiary of Israel Corporation’s IC Green Energy.  According to the article, Primus is advancing on four fronts to commercialize the technology: they report having an agreement with Lockheed Martin for engineering services, that they are negotiating with an unnamed contractor to construct their commercial plant, that they have a cooperation agreement with Landmark Ventures for a future financing round and that they are working on biomass supplies, including a letter of intent from Eco Energy.
