Greenlight seeks tax waiver on path to Maryland biodiesel re-start

In Maryland, chicken fat biodiesel producer Greenlight is seeking permission from Somerset County Commissioners to waive a portion of a personal property tax bill in order to try and get the facility—which suffered from an explosion in 2008—back online by the end of the year. It also owes $58,000 plus $10,000 interest on its 2009-10 tax bill.
