COFCO says China has enough grain for food, fuel and feed

In China, the assistant president of COFCO says that using grain for ethanol production won’t harm the country’s grain security—despite concerns by the government that it would, causing a freeze on new grain-based ethanol plants. He pointed out that less than 1% of the country’s grain goes towards ethanol production.
