Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 94.42 on enzyme, palm advance

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 1.07 percent to 94.42 as Novozymes and Mission NewEnergy led a biofuels rally. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) recovered 1.87 percent to $37.02, while Novozymes (NZMB) jumped 5.68 percent to $172.00. Among other equities, Mission NewEnergy (MNEL) rebounded 7.41 percent to $8.70 on news of a $100 million sustainable palm oil order. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
