Cordiant commits $17M towards Hungarian ethanol project

In Canada, Coridant Capital reports that the Montreal based fund manager has committed a $17 million mezzanine funding towards the construction of a new $214 million corn ethanol producing plant in Hungary.  As we previously reported in the Digest  construction is already underway and should be completed in early 2012, when it will have a production capacity of up to 240,000,000 liters of fuel grade ethanol per year.
