On the Move in Biofuels: Amyris, Verdezyne

In Washington state, Verdezyne chief scientific officer Dr. Stephen Picataggio will be presented with the Charles D. Scott Award at the 33rd Symposium on Biotechnology for Fuels and Chemicals in Seattle, the premier meeting in its field.

In California, Keith Kinkead Reiling resigned from the Amyris, Inc. Board of Directors and Geoffrey Duyk notified the Board that he would resign as a director effective May 2, 2011. The Board appointed co-founder and CTO Neil Renninger, to serve as a director effective immediately following Dr. Reiling’s resignation.
