Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 88.31 despite advanced biofuels slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rebounded 1.08 percent to 88.31 despite an advanced biofuels retreat. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) slipped 0.16 percent to $31.76, while Aventine Renewables (AVRW) regained 6.00 percent to $15.90. Among other equities, Rentech (RTK) was up 12.22 percent to $1.01 after closing its acquisition of controlling interest in ClearFuels. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
